LANVIN

Okay, yes a little behind, but I couldn't finish this week without discussing the Lanvin Menswear Paris show. Essentially what is not to love? The bomber jacket paired with the nude shade roll neck, it was the first thing I saw and quite frankly it could have been the last. I fell in sweet fashion love.

What transpired for me throughout the collection was the way in which it paired an equal unity of similarities throughout but still managed to encompass some real gems. The sheer shirt in the eerily good blue/purple tone really caught my attention.
The combination of strictly fitted coats and leather numbers with the beautifully oversized overcoats made the collection feel doable almost.

There is enough variety to make the collection approachable and wearable, when the sheer shirt may not for example. The frequent pops of colour enhance the almost strict use of black and variable shades adding a warmth throughout the collection.

Lanvin did very well this season, the collection created a well rounded variety. So yes you get a thumbs up from me. Photo credits are here and here

Oh and Kanye West was front row, doesn't it make the show even more loveable? What has been your favourite Paris Menswear show?
