SPLURGING

When is it okay to splurge? Realistically? I mean I know people splurge all the time, on all kinds of things, but for a student when is it truly okay to splurge on something? And by splurge I mean spending over £100 on something that can only really be deemed as materialistic? What do we have to do to deserve the item, to make buying it okay?
I have had my eye on this Marc Jacobs watch ever since I hit reblog on Tumblr a few years back, it has been sitting in my Saks Fifth Avenue basket ever since.

I had originally picked it out with the simple gold rim and then as that became unavailable this rose gold one was a fair and beautiful replacement. I think when I have finished my A Levels this little beauty will be mine, I am turning 18 this year after all, and I have put the effort in. Okay so it is not the best reasoning for buying something, but it's a reason all the same.
Have you ever splurged or something and how did you justify it?

  1. A splurge as a student once in a while isn't too bad right? As long as you can afford it and don't do it too much! Plus that watch it really pretty.
